We would like to thank everyone involved in organising this year's festival in the teeth of so many difficulties. The evidence of the recent flooding was still easy to spot, and it was obvious that metaphorical mountains had been moved in order that the event could go ahead. There's only been one complaint from members that went: the market was so good this year that everyone spent too much money! The weather was kind at last, with brilliant sunshine on both days. Photos of raising the glove to open the fair are in the gallery now. Our sympathy goes to everyone affected by the latest bout of flooding in the Tewkesbury area in the last few days since St Swithin's anniversary.
