- The Guild of Historical Interpreters is a small multi period group which covers Ancient Egypt, and English periods from Romano-British through to the Home Front of World War 2.
- Members use a wide range of traditional skills, appropriate period costume and their collections of personally sourced artefacts to bring the past to life.
- With experience in museums, schools and as extras for T.V. and films, The Guild is able to offer a wide-ranging programme which can be tailored to a client's requirements.
- None of the members works to a rehearsed speech. This enables real interpretation of the past, and allows us to respond knowledgeably to the wide range of questions which the public can ask.
- We work with every age group: offering schools' history days which are Q.C.A. linked, individual speakers for groups, museum demonstrations and hands on activities. We also do living history displays and crafts common to civilian roles which complement period specific and military roles.
